One of the most popular verse out of the whole book of Proverbs is chapter 3:5-6,

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight." 

 

One thing that I was not told growing up, was that life is going to be hard at times. I honestly thought life would be easy, good and happy without any problem and have everything planned out.  I mean, it’s good to be positive and believe for that...but there also needs to be an understanding that life is not perfect and we will have troubles, tough times, things happen that we can't control.  Jesus says that in John 16:33 "in this world you will have troubles."

No matter how happy someone is on an instagram post or snapchat, they will go through some challenging times. No one wants to post the real pictures, the ugly...not so pretty picture perfect aspects of life.  Life is messy, there is the good, the bad and the ugly.

In Genesis 1:27 it says "God created man in his image."  If God is going to create something it will have a purpose.  The Bible also says God knows the beginning and the end of everything. Thats including your life and mine  and when he creates something he has a plan for it.  It just makes sense to trust God and try and do things His way.  

 

The complete verse in John 16:33 Jesus says, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.  In this world you will have trouble, but take heart I have overcome the world."

 

Life's hard at times, honestly try and trust the Lord with your life.  He can give you peace and help you through those tough times.  Since he created you, trust that he can give you a peace and has a purpose for your life.
